Sattu Kebab

Sattu Kebab

Serving Size: 4 - 5 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dhuli moong (split urad dal)
  • 1/4 cup soya chunks
  • 4 - 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • Coriander leaves
  • 4 tablespoons Fitlicious classic sattu
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Oil, for shallow frying

Steps:

  1. Soak 1 cup of dhuli moong in water for 2 hours.
  2. Drain the soaked dhuli moong and blend it coarsely with soya chunks, garlic cloves, ginger, and coriander leaves.
  3. Transfer the blended mixture to a mixing bowl.
  4. Add Fitlicious classic sattu, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, pepper, and turmeric powder. Mix well until combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into small, cylindrical kebabs.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  7. Shallow fry the kebabs until they are golden brown on all sides.
  8. Serve hot and with your favourite dipping sauce or chutney.

Note: Fitlicious classic sattu already has salt and lemon.
