Sattu Bharta

Sattu Bharta

Serving Size: 2 - 3 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Fitlicious classic/spicy sattu
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 3 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mustard oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds

Steps:

  1. Heat mustard oil in a small pan. Add cumin seeds and black mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onion, green chilli, and garlic cloves to the tempering. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add the sattu to the sautéed vegetables.
  4. Mix well until you achieve a binding consistency.
  5. Serve the sattu bharta hot, and enjoy with steamed rice, dal, and pickle.

Note: Fitlicious classic and spicy sattu already has salt and lemon.
