Sattu Buttermilk

Sattu Buttermilk

Serving Size: 2 - 3 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup curd or yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup Fitlicious classic sattu flour
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup water (or more to adjust consistency)
  • Salt, to taste

Steps:

  1. In a bowl, add curd or yoghurt and whisk well until smooth.
  2. Add Fitlicious classic sattu flour to the whisked curd and mix well.
  3. In a mixer grinder jar, add chopped ginger, mint leaves, and coriander leaves.
  4. Grind the mixture using a couple of spoons of water.
  5. Add the ground herb mixture to the curd and sattu mixture. Whisk well to combine.
  6. Add water and whisk until you achieve your desired consistency for the buttermilk.
  7. Refrigerate the buttermilk until ready to serve. Consume within 24 hours for best flavor and freshness.

Note: Fitlicious classic sattu already has salt and lemon.
