Serving Size: 4 - 5 servings
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons Fitlicious classic sattu
- 4 tablespoons besan
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons curd
- Water or buttermilk, as needed to make a batter
- Oil, for cooking
Steps:
- In a deep mixing bowl, combine sattu, besan, turmeric powder, salt, pepper, chopped onion, chopped garlic cloves, lemon juice, and curd.
- Add water or buttermilk and gradually stir until you achieve a smooth, pourable batter.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin, round cheela.
- Drizzle a little oil over the cheela.
- Cook until the bottom side is golden brown and set. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown as well.
- Serve hot and enjoy with green chutney or ketchup.
Note: Fitlicious classic sattu already has salt and lemon.
